“Movies were always a great source of inspiration for me. As a kid, films like Jaws, Evil Dead, The Thing (J. Carpenter), For your eyes only, The Fearless Hyena and Inframan had a very strong impact .

My favorite part in the creative process of illustration is the sketch.

To find an appropriate point of view with a strong composition and dramatic lighting. I always start on paper and then paint in photoshop. I like to work with soft pastels for non-commercial work. I’ve been freelancing since February 2011 and have been working a lot on my personnal projects as well lately, which is great.”-Donald Caron
