Since 2006
MLoveizm Magazine was founded by Artists and dedicated to Artists worldwide. MLoveizm seeks to spotlight others in the pursuit of meaning through vision. They believe that their gifts are not their own and not for the building up of themselves but to edify, admonish and inspire others.
The birth of MLoveizm Magazine started back in 2006 when Artist Melissa Leslie met her soon to be husband and fellow Artist Daniel Quinones. Both were extremely passionate about art, fashion, writing and helping others. Together, they were a force to be reckoned with. Fellow patrons knew the art hub on Myspace early on as ‘Mind of a Modern Day Artist’ but through time it evolved to the name ‘MLoveizm Magazine’. Regardless of the technical intricacies of building an html based website, Leslie began to plug away at the online website. The magazine was up and running early 2008.
The world of Artists began flooding in from Japan to Italy to Brazil to the USA with their submissions and the site was in constant update.
As 2009 was approaching the site was simply a colossal in updates and desperately needed serious foundation rebuilding internally. It went down for a year.
In January 2011 blessings overflowed. What was once a lost cause of outrageous website quotes, research and passion, a team of like-minded individuals were placed in their lives and the site went up with a new hope and direction.
Their current focus is to spotlight artists worldwide all while keeping the doors open for dialogue. The common ground is a shared respect for art in hopes to provoke thought. They anticipate to evoke others morally, mentally and spiritually in a way that calls for action.
Their mission is not only to alarm the mindset of onlookers but to plant seeds into the minds of those who have the talent to tell a vision in all artistic genres.
“Some of the most powerful revolutions begin with art. Art provides a vision for the visionless. It helps lead the way. In many ways we have seen a great decline in morality as well as the degradation of value in human lives. If Artists are to truly harness their talent for the greater good, we need to stand behind those who choose to use it for a deeper cognitive connection. We strongly believe that what a man thinks in his mind so is he and he can only go as far as his thoughts allow.”-MLoveizm.
